TRP Athletes Continue Winning Across Europe and North America
With a short break in the UCI World Cup calendar before the upcoming World Championships, the past weekend marked the beginning of the 2026 National Championships across Europe. This period is always a key moment of the season, as each country selects the riders who will represent their national federation at the World Championships. National champions earn the right to wear their prestigious national champion's jersey for the next twelve months.
Several countries crowned their new champions over the weekend, and we're proud to see many TRP-supported athletes standing on the top step of the podium across multiple disciplines.
Cross Country (XCO)
One of the standout performances came from Mathis Azzaro with Origine Racing Division, who claimed the French XCO National Championship.
Winning the French title is considered one of the most prestigious achievements in international cross-country racing due to the exceptional depth of talent within France. Mathis will now proudly wear the French champion's jersey throughout the remainder of the 2026-27 season.
Another outstanding result came from Martina Berta with Origine Racing Division, who successfully secured the Italian XCO National Championship.
Italy continues to be one of the strongest nations in cross-country mountain biking, making this another significant achievement. Martina will once again represent Italy in the national champion's jersey, successfully defending the title she earned last season.
Continuing the success in XCO, Sasha Hudyma (KMC Nukeproof) was crowned Ukrainian National Champion, successfully retaining the title he also won last year.
Downhill (DHI)
In Downhill, Veronika Widmann once again demonstrated her consistency by winning the Italian National Championship.
With fellow Italian Gloria Scarsi enjoying an excellent World Cup season and regularly challenging for podium finishes, defending the national title was far from easy. Veronika will once again wear the Italian champion's sleeve throughout the remainder of the season.
Enduro
In Spain, Marco Veiga claimed the Spanish Enduro National Championship, adding another national title to the TRP family. Spain continues to have a really strong Enduro cup, making this an important victory both for Marco and for the Iberian market.

Under-23 Success
Monster Energy Pro Downhill series
The Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series returned to Solitude Mountain Resort for Round 3 of the 2026 season, where TRP-supported athletes delivered another outstanding weekend of racing across multiple categories.
Leading the charge was Nate Kitchen (Intense Factory Racing), who claimed the Elite Men's victory with a commanding run to take the top step of the podium. Coles Suetos (ZFR) continued his consistent season with a strong third-place finish, while Dante Silva (Intense Factory Racing) narrowly missed the podium in fourth after another impressive performance.
On the women's side, Maylei Leaneagh secured an excellent second-place finish in the Elite Women's race, while Ainsley Wolf dominated the Junior Women 17–18 category to take the win. With victories and podium finishes across the board, Round 3 at Solitude marked another successful weekend for TRP-supported teams as the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series heads into the final stretch of the season.
Looking Ahead
Overall, it was an outstanding weekend for TRP, with multiple national champions across Europe proudly earning the right to wear their country's colours for the next twelve months.
Attention now turns to the USA Cycling Gravity National Championships, which will take place from July 23–26 at Snow Summit, Big Bear Lake, California. The event will determine who will wear the coveted Stars and Stripes jersey throughout the 2026–2027 season.
We're looking forward to seeing our American riders battle for the title and hope to celebrate another TRP national champion very soon.
