TRP Racing Report – Leogang World Cup & Enduro World Series
Last weekend, Leogang (Austria) hosted the third round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, featuring Downhill, Cross-Country and Enduro competitions. Persistent rain and extremely challenging weather conditions throughout the week turned the event into a true test for riders, teams and components.
Downhill World Cup
For our DH teams, Leogang delivered another emotional and action-packed weekend.
Frameworks Racing
ASA Vermette
Frameworks Racing/ TRP once again showed its potential at the highest level. Asa Vermette qualified for another World Cup final but suffered a heavy crash at very high speed in one of the fastest sections of the course after overshooting a jump. Despite the severity of the impact, Asa was able to recover and cross the finish line, demonstrating remarkable composure and determination to secure valuable points for the overall World Cup standings.
Frameworks Racing
Anna Newkirk
The highlight of the weekend came from Anna Newkirk, who claimed her first World Cup podium of the season.
After qualifying in second position, Anna delivered another outstanding run in the final to secure third place, confirming the strong progression she has shown throughout the year and establishing herself among the fastest women on the circuit.
UNNO FACTORY RACING
At UNNO Factory Racing, both Veronika Widmann and Simon Chapelet qualified directly through Q1. In the final, a small mistake prevented Veronika from fighting for a stronger result, ultimately finishing 15th.
Simon delivered a consistent run to finish 24th. Both riders continue to gain valuable experience and collect important World Cup points for the team.

Junior Categories
Lois Eller
Once again, young German rider Lois Eller delivered one of the standout performances of the weekend. After qualifying in second position, he went on to finish fourth in the final, missing the podium by only a small margin. As a semi-private rider, Lois continues to attract attention throughout the paddock thanks to his impressive speed and consistent results.

In the Junior Women's category, both Logar sisters successfully qualified for the final. Raina Logar narrowly missed the podium with an excellent fourth-place finish, while Zana Logar suffered a small mistake during her race run and ultimately finished eighth.
Enduro World Series
In Enduro competition, Tristan Botteram and Frederik Matz once again demonstrated strong pace and determination.
Tristan remained inside the Top 10 for much of the race weekend, but a mechanical issue during one of the stages cost him valuable time and dropped him to 13th place overall.
Meanwhile, Frederik Matz delivered one of the most remarkable comebacks of the event. A puncture during Stage 1 dropped him all the way down to 112th position in the standings. However, stage after stage he fought his way back through the field, eventually finishing in an impressive 33rd place overall, showcasing both resilience and determination.

Cross Country World Cup
The XCO competition produced one of the most talked-about stories of the weekend.
Mathis Azzaro crossed the finish line in second position after an outstanding race. However, following the event, he was disqualified due to a Feed Zone infringement. Under UCI regulations, riders may only enter the Feed Zone to receive mechanical assistance, food or hydration. Any use of the zone for tactical purposes can result in immediate disqualification.
For Everyone Matthis finished second anyway!!
Cross Country World Cup
Among the positive performances, Martina Berta once again demonstrated her consistency by securing sixth place. The Italian rider continues to deliver Top 10 results on a regular basis and is steadily climbing the overall World Cup rankings.
Cross Country World Cup
KMC Nukeproof's Julian Schelb delivered a strong 18th-place finish, while Kelsey Urban continued her upward trajectory with an impressive 16th-place result.
Special recognition goes to young French talent Naël Rouffiac, who once again reached the podium by finishing third in the U23 category. His progression continues to be impressive and reflects the excellent work being carried out by the Origine Racing Team, whose riders consistently compete at the front of the field.
Looking Ahead
Following a demanding weekend in Leogang, the World Cup now moves to Lenzerheide, Switzerland, where our athletes will have another opportunity to fight for podium positions and continue collecting valuable championship points.
The season continues, and the momentum within the TRP racing family keeps building as we head into another important World Cup weekend
